John and Brenda Truffa started JB Hardwoods in 2009. Their pledge is to off the highest quality products at the greatest value to you, our customer. We take pride in our craftsmanship, ensuring each product meets your expectations.

And we support your commitment to the environment through our efforts to use as much reclaimed hardwoods as possible. I’m the craftsman behind J & B Hardwoods, and for me the process starts at the sawmill. I hand pick each board to ensure the highest quality from the start. Once back at my work shop just outside of Tampa, Fl designs are created, boards are ripped to desired width and are now ready for gluing. All of my projects are made using Titebond II Wood Glue, a non-toxic--FDA approved for indirect food contact adhesive. Once a piece has been glued and shaped they are ready for planning to desired thickness then sanding to ensure only the smoothest finished product possible! After all sanding has taken place, I then soak them in food grade mineral oil overnight and rub in natural bees wax for a great natural finish that will last.All are boards are glued together, using food safe, water resistant glue and a food safe finish is hand rubbed in.
